Most of my clients (including Deutsche Bank, FD Mediagroep, Holland Casino, Odido, and Universal Music) provide all their new employees with an online ergonomic workstation assessment as part of the onboarding process.
It is a service I strongly believe in. And I can see that it works in practice.
New employees appreciate the attention from their new employer. And the investment (45 minutes for the employee and €100 including a report for the employer) more than pays for itself in happier colleagues, less absenteeism and cost savings by letting me determine whether an employee really needs an ergonomic desk or chair, for example. Usually not, in my opinion!
