Personal data we process

When we do a workstation assessment, we process the following data:

  • First and last name
  • Company name
  • Phone number (in some cases)
  • E-mail address

When we send a report of a workstation assessment we process the following data:

  • First and last name
  • Company name
  • E-mail address
  • A list of tips we provided during the workstation assessment

Confidential information shared by a client during a workstation assessment is not recorded or processed by DeskGuru. In case confidential information is shared by a client in written form it is deleted by DeskGuru.

Other data we process

DeskGuru receives photos of a customer’s workstation in some cases. This happens only if the client sends them (on a voluntary basis). These photos are deleted within one month after a workstation assessment.

Why do we process personal data?

DeskGuru processes your personal data in order to call or email you in order to perform our services.

How and how long do we keep personal data

DeskGuru records all her data on a secured server, in encrypted form. DeskGuru makes use of the (paid) business software Google Workspace (more informatie about security standards here).

DeskGuru records personal information (first name, laset name, company name, phone number and email address) for as long as it is necessary to provide clients with an invoice and overview of which of their colleagues have booked a workstation assessment.

DeskGuru records reports about a workstation assessment for a maximum of one year. After this period the reports are removed from its servers and email.

Sharing personal data with third parties

DeskGuru only provides third parties and only if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use

Deskguru uses only technical and functional cookies. And analytical cookies that do not invade your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website.

The cookies we use are necessary for the technical operation of the website and your ease of use. They ensure that the website works properly and remember, for example, your preferences. They also allow us to optimize our website. You can opt out of cookies by configuring your Internet browser to stop storing cookies. In addition, you can also delete all information previously stored via your browser settings.

Viewing, adjusting or deleting data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your possible consent for data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by DeskGuru and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can request us to send the personal data we have on you in a computer file to you or another organization named by you.

You can send a request to inspect, correct, delete, transfer your personal data or request the revocation of your permission or objection to the processing of your personal data to sanne@deskguru.nl.

To make sure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.

DeskGuru would also like to point out that you have the possibility to file a complaint with the national regulator, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. You can do so via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

How we protect personal data

DeskGuru takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. If you feel that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact us!
