A “tour around the office” at my clients

Some of the clients I visited in 2024

I have been doing my workplace assessments (almost) exclusively online since 2020. It is more efficient and cheaper, but I am also now convinced that they are (almost always) also better in terms of quality.

In 2023 I launched a service for current clients that is really only possible ‘live’: a tour of the offices, where I address all colleagues present, give tips and invite them to ask questions about their workstation. I am very excited about it – and clients, fortunately, too!

It is a good way to raise awareness about working in a healthy way. I do my best to make the stuffy image that Health & Safety has ‘fun’ and practical. And I think I often succeed. I hear that colleagues start talking about the subject and see that they think critically again. If one colleague adjusts the workplace properly every day, the others automatically follow. We remain herd animals after all 😉

It is also cost-efficient. In medium-sized companies (50 to 100 people), I can often speak to everyone in person on 1 day. And almost everyone I speak to has a question. Colleagues with follow-up questions can book an online ergonomic workstation assessment, in which I take the time to help colleagues personally and discuss more personal topics.

Some of the clients I did a “tour around the office” for so far: Arcadis, Aveco de Bondt, Carhartt, CEB (Paris), Deutsche Bank, D&B, Enable U, FD Mediagroep, Lloyds Bank, Nictiz, NRC, Rutgers & Posch, Sam Media, TopNotch, Universal Music & Van Campen Liem.
